What are the upfront costs?
Our franchise opportunity starts with an initial fee of $30,000, and a royalty fee of 7.5% based on your monthly gross revenues. To give you a complete picture, the total investment typically averages around $250,000.
What is the $250,000 for?
What sets KidsUnited apart is our state-of-the-art indoor facilities. We require a minimum of 2,400 square feet, with a single indoor field spanning about 1,200 square feet. Our programs run year-round, so weather never affects our classes. Aside from buildout costs, the initial franchisee fee plus furniture and equipment purchases, initial inventory, and signage contribute to this total.
What kind of space should a franchisee look for?
We recommend shopping centers. Our programs attract high traffic, making us a valuable addition to any shopping center. We typically look for areas with a household income of at least $100,000 and a dense population within a 10-mile radius or 200,000 people, whichever is less.
How long until I see a return on my investment?
On average, franchisees achieve a return on investment within about 18 months. We run a presale campaign during your buildout phase, so you're already gaining members before your doors officially open. This means you could be breaking even by day one, which is quite unusual in the business world.
How many locations do you currently have?
Currently, we have four operational locations and eight in development. Our two corporate locations in Staten Island, NY, and Woodbridge, NJ, serve as successful models. What sets us apart from other soccer programs is our dedication to providing a climate-controlled, padded-turf indoor environment and a standardized curriculum that ensures a consistent experience across all our locations. We are on pace to finish out this year with 10 licenses sold. Next year we will aim to sell 20 licenses with at least 15 operational by the end of the year. 2 years from now, we anticipate selling another 30 licenses, with at least 35 operational.

What kind of support do you provide?
We're committed to your success every step of the way. From comprehensive training to presale campaigns and ongoing operational support, we'll be with you. The franchise agreement typically lasts for 10 years, with an option to renew for another 10.

Our marketing strategy primarily focuses on social media and Google ads. We recommend a monthly marketing budget of $2,000, with $1,500 allocated for the actual marketing and $500 for campaign management. You can choose to work with our experienced in-house team or bring in your preferred experts, and we'll provide all the necessary content.
