5Are you seeking a fun activity for your child that will also teach them valuable life skills? Are you looking for a way to teach your child healthy habits, social skills and self-confidence? Check out KidsUnited, a New Springville Staten Island youth soccer development program! Our staff of instructors guide children into becoming their best selves, through learning and playing the great game of soccer. We help them learn active habits, make new friends, and have fun doing it!
We offer two programs for children ages one and a half to ten, appropriate for that age and skill level. Starting at age one and a half, we teach children basic motor skills and teamwork. At this early stage, we help the child learn the basics of balance, discipline, focus and orientation in space.
Once a child reaches the age of 3.5, we start them off with a program that includes more technical instruction. At this point, children are appreciating the game more, and we can teach advanced skills such as body mastery, coordination, and a true appreciation for the game of soccer. In the age three and a half to ten program, a child learns to set and achieve goals, be part of a team, and overcome challenges.
At KidsUnited, we know that children face multiple difficulties in school and in life, and we understand that parents want to help their children grow. We’ve designed our age-specific programs to help a child learn healthy habits and useful life skills, and to build a successful future.
